Refund policy
We want you to be completely happy with your Hakata-ori. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
Defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, email us at hello@fukuokasilk.com within 14 days of delivery, with a photo if possible. We will arrange a free replacement or a full
refund, and we cover return shipping.
Change of mind
If you simply change your mind, you may return an item within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused, unwashed, and returned with its original tags and packaging intact. Return shipping is paid by the
customer. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
Non-returnable items
Sale items, made-to-order pieces, and custom or personalized items cannot be returned unless they are defective.
How to start a return
Email hello@fukuokasilk.com with your order number and the reason for return. We will reply with the return address and next steps. Please do not send items back before contacting us.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive the returned item. Where shipping was charged separately, original shipping costs are non-refundable
except for defective or incorrect items.
Import duties on international returns
Any import duties or taxes you originally paid are generally not refundable by us. You may be able to reclaim them directly from your local customs authority.
